The hotel is conveniently outside the city center with shared toilet and bathroom facilities. My room had a double bed with wooden board support under the mattress. Despite a minor inconvenience of having to flush the toilet before use, the room overall was decent and within 5 minutes of check-in.

Rooms

The room had a double bed with a supportive wooden board underneath. Despite the shared toilet and bathroom, it provided a comfortable stay.
Service

The staff were extremely helpful and kind throughout my stay. They even offered snack baskets for the rooms, showing great hospitality.

Although located in a rough part of Newcastle, the owner, affectionately known as 'Kenny,' was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The easy access to bus stops for a quick commute to the city center was a plus.
Dining

The dining experience offered a variety of choices including cereal, fruit, toast, and boiled eggs. However, availability was limited on weekends until late morning.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was decent, with affordable transportation options to the city center, but the area felt somewhat unsafe. The rooms, although charged as a family room, turned out to be incredibly small with thin walls, creating a confined feeling. The lack of service and unavailability of staff on-site for assistance were notable drawbacks, but the self-service kitchen had all the necessary amenities for guests.

My stay at the Liverpool Lodge wasn't the best experience overall. The tiny loft conversion room was cramped, with barely enough space for basic amenities. On a positive note, the Jury's Inn I stayed at previously was lovely and recommended.

The hotel might not be the best choice for those looking for spacious rooms, as the bunk beds in our family room left very little space for movement. However, despite a distracting 'Emergency Exit' light, the room was decent. The service was warm and friendly overall, though there was a delay in housekeeping. The location, while in a rough area, was surprisingly close to the city center and offered good access to transportation. The dining options were basic but sufficient, with a slight hiccup in timing. The facility rating reflects the overall average experience.

The Jury's Inn was a lovely hotel that I would recommend. The room was okay, although having a green 'Emergency Exit' light that lit up throughout the night was annoying. The proximity was very close, almost feeling like sleeping in the manager's room with CCTV TVs, which was not ideal.

Rooms

The room was okay, but the green 'Emergency Exit' light was bothersome throughout the night. The proximity to the manager's room with CCTV TVs was not great.
Service

The service staff were absolutely amazing, guiding us to where we were going on the night. However, they should have informed us about noise levels in advance.
Location
6.0
The location in the Kensington suburb of Liverpool wasn't great, but it was only £4 in a taxi ride into Liverpool center. It is close to Anfield, although the area itself is not the nicest.
Dining
7.0
The self-service breakfast in the morning was nice, offering the usual boiled eggs, toast, cereal, juice, coffee, and tea. The variety was decent, and for what we paid, it was good.
Facilities

The facilities were just on the cusp of going mouldy and smelt very stale and old. Not the best in terms of modern amenities.

The hotel is located outside the city center in an area that may not be the most appealing, but it offers a decent stay. The rooms, despite being small, were generally acceptable, although having a persistent lit 'Emergency Exit' light was bothersome. The service was warm and helpful, going the extra mile to assist. The location, while not ideal, is close enough to town with affordable transportation options. The dining experience was satisfactory with a simple self-service breakfast. Overall, a budget-friendly choice with some drawbacks but with friendly service.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the lack of windows and coffee making facilities made it a bit inconvenient. The communal toilets and showers were stiflingly hot upon arrival, and the constant TV noise was a nuisance. On the bright side, there were no major issues with the room's amenities, and the bed was decent. Service was a mix of humor and disappointment, with jokes about the hotel not meeting expectations and the inconvenience of sharing the building with noisy guests. The location was decent, offering cleanliness and nice washing facilities, but there were disturbances during the night, affecting the overall experience. The dining options were limited, with basic choices provided for breakfast. Facilities were acceptable but not exceptional.

The hotel is in a convenient location for city center access and offers very cheap taxi rides. The rooms were very basic with no windows for cooler temperature, and the service was mixed with some friendly and some rude staff. The dining area was extremely clean but experienced delays in opening, and the surroundings were rough in certain parts but close enough to the town and public transportation.

The hotel is situated in the Kensington suburb of Liverpool, offering basic rooms with friendly service. Despite being in a rough part of Newcastle, the warm welcome from the lady running the place made our stay pleasant. Although the location is not ideal for some, the easy access to a bus to the city center is convenient. The dining experience was satisfactory with self-serve options, but the limited facilities might not meet everyone's expectations.

Rooms
